What went wrong
The importers recognized only a few one-line labels. Bullet lists and mixed feature/spell sections stayed in Build notes, while the matching columns appeared empty. Elia’s custom importer also placed every bullet in Features. Text-survival tests did not catch this semantic error.
Corrections
- Both importers now share structured progression extraction; notes no longer intentionally duplicate the whole level record.
- Recorded selections and researched 2024 core-class grants are presented separately. Class level—not character level—controls multiclass feature timing.
- Documented snapshots receive calculable proficiency, casting values and level-1 maximum HP, with formulas. Unknown future ability choices are not guessed.
- Healing Word is level 1. Elia’s Contact Other Plane is always prepared through Warlock 9, not an ordinary preparation chosen at Warlock 10.
Decisions still needed
- Elia: Lore Bard 3 supplies three skill proficiencies, not the recorded two expertise choices. Clarify skill allocations and reconcile spell preparation totals. Harengon compatibility remains a separate review.
- Aeri: choose the Artificer edition. Under the legacy preparation formula her INT 17 and Artificer 1 allow three preparations, while four are listed. Extra spell access and the design sheet’s Thunderclap attack wording need review.
- Jane: distinguish first cosmetic scales at character 7 from Draconic subclass mechanics at Sorcerer 3 / character 9. Patron, spells and several feat choices remain open.
- Neris: choose Divine Order and finalize background/target-score allocation.
- Isolde: resolve Boreas versus Faithful Steed, future ASIs and HP policy.
- Corren, Lysa and Silas: actual levels and ability scores remain absent. No numerical sheets have been fabricated.
Coverage and limits
This is a corrective import audit, not certification of every build. It covers Aeri, Elia, Isolde, Jane, Neris, Corren, Lysa and Silas. Sixteen older catalogue entries still need the same pass. Subclass detail, complete spell preparation legality, skill/feat prerequisites and all non-SRD options are not exhaustively verified. Dated source sections remain historical evidence and can contain claims superseded by the review above.
The required import checklist (local library only) now includes official rules research, derived-value provenance, conflict review and semantic regression tests.
